KERRIA JAP PICTA
Grower Notes:

Kerria japonica 'Picta' is commonly referred to as Picta Japanese Kerria or Variegated Japanese Kerria. The Picta variety is a low-growing, broadly rounded, spreading shrub with a dense, twiggy habit. It features gray-green leaves that are irregularly variegated with white on the outer margins. Profuse, single, canary yellow flowers bloom from April through early May among the variegated foliage providing an outstanding look for the garden.

Picta Variegated Japanese Kerria thrives in part sun with dappled shade. It enjoys average, evenly moist, well-drained soils. It can be drought tolerant once established, but does appreciate occasional watering during dry months. It will need to be pruned after flowering to maintain its variegated appearance along with its health and vigor.
